Bible Study

Introduction

Most weekends, we require 15 or 16 people for the 4 Masses at St. Anthony’s. We have 40 Eucharistic Ministers; so this means that people end up being scheduled to assist every 2 or 3 weeks. The Ministers are asked to "swap" or let me know if they are away etc., so that things can run smoothly, but this doesn't always work! People tend to move on quite often, so we always need new volunteers!

Some people have carried out this ministry where they've come from and for some it is completely new. Every Parish does things slightly differently, not to mention every Celebrant! We have short training/update sessions every couple of months, usually on a Saturday afternoon at 16:00.

All Eucharistic Ministers were commissioned to carry out their ministry in January along with other Ministers. Thank you to all the Eucharistic Ministers.
