Catechetics

Introduction

Approximately 200 children enrolled every year in the catechetics/ religious education programme, also known as Sunday School. During the Catechetics year the children receive fundamental education  of the Catholic faith and they are prepared for the reception of the Sacraments, including penance, first communion and confirmation. Children aged 5-15 are welcome. There is also Children's Liturgy during 10.00 mass for children 3-5 years old.

If you want your children to attend Catechetics/ Religious Education classes you can contact the Parish Office or check the parish bulletin for dates of enrolment. There is a small donation we request for all course

If you are an adult who want to improve their faith or know more about the Catholic faith there are several programmes for adults including Alpha Course, GIFT (Growing in Faith Together), Sunday discussion groups, etc.

If you have any question about the Catechetics/religious education program, or are interested in teaching or assisting a teacher, please contact Brian O'Neill.
