Charities Annual Report 2003-4

The Parish has once again shown its exceptional generosity in its support for the various appeals held.  Over €36,520 was collected during the monthly and Lenten appeals.  The final figure is even higher, thanks to the generosity of several parishioners who have made additional donations to those recorded in the collection boxes.

The annual Christmas charity fayre was successfully held on 30 November with 13 different charities participating.

As well as the regular appeals, Jessie Williams organised a cookery demonstration class with proceeds going to the Little Sisters of the Poor, which raised over €430, and will be repeated in November on popular demand.
