Christmas - No fairy story
Most of us can remember fairy stories such as Goldilocks, The three little pigs, Tom Thumb etc. These are magical stories just as the Christmas story is and as Santa Claus is-magical.
Now let’s understand the story of Christmas more realistically, because it is REAL-NOW. This is the time of the Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year and the word CHRISTMAS means light coming back. Our days are getting longer…and perhaps I could join with this happening, in allowing the Christ Light in myself to become brighter and let it shine out through me, through my person/spirit, even through my face. Each person in the world is like a lighted candle and the whole of humanity in its oneness can be as radiant as the sun.
Realise the good news of Christmas- I am the light of the world. You are the light of the world. Christ is the light of the world and in the words of the song, ‘Let your love light shine….’
