They asked each other, "Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?" (Luke. 24:32)

Lectors

Introduction

We are a group of about 25 people  serving as readers during the liturgy, proclaiming the Word of God, reading the Prayers of the Faithful on behalf of the assembly. We meet at least once a year to welcome newcomers to our group, to discuss any problems or issues in connection with reading in liturgies and to exchange tips on how to improve our style and delivery of reading. Take a look at our "Lector handout". Four times a year we issue a 3-monthly schedule to organise the dates and times for our ministry.

Since many people in our Parish travel frequently, we are always in need of more readers.
