A rich harvest of graces

Kraineem, 1st September 2004

Dear Fellow Parishioners,

Dear Parishioners,

Since our last Newsletter at Easter we have had the Celebration of First Holy Communion over two weekends for our little Parishioners who became eligible this year by reaching the "Use of Reason". Thank God for the wonderful team-work between their parents, our superb team of Religion Teachers and their helpers and many other people who made the two celebrations so memorable: musicians, eucharistic ministers, flower-arrangers, parents who prepared the wonderful Reception with such tasty food and the magnificent cakes, our own Knights of St. Thomas More who prepared the grounds etc.

We also thank God for the magnificent weather on both days. On the Feast of Pentecost we celebrate the Confirmation in the Holy Spirit of over fifty of our young teenage parishioners. Again we are deeply grateful for the wonderful teamwork between them, their parents, our dedicated team of teachers and many others mentioned earlier who also helped on the First Holy Communion Sundays.

We would like to sincerely thank all those who have worked so hard to prepare our Annual Summer Fayre, which is so important in the social bonding of our Parishioners and also in paying half the amount of our annual mortgage.

We wish all of you all the best for your Summer vacations and we wish those parishioners who are leaving Belgium and us every blessing in their new locations.

Sincerely in the Lord,

Fr. Vincent and Fr. John, Pastors
