With Christmas in the horizon

Dear Fellow Parishioners,

The Feast of the Nativity of Jesus Our Saviour is fast approaching. Our Parish is going to celebrate Jesus' Birth fittingly, with two Christ - Masses on Sat. 24th, the first at 19.00 hrs ( especially for our children) and the second, at 23.30 hrs (preceded by Carols beginning at 23.00 hrs). On Sunday morning 25th Dec. we have two Christ - Masses, one at 10.00 a.m. and another at 11.30 a.m. The Liturgical celebrations end with the 11.30 Mass. There will be no Evening Mass.

This is a time of year for thanking each other and wishing each other well. We thank all of you for your Faith-filled Involvement in our Parish Community. We are deeply grateful for your support in worship and prayer, in almsgiving for the poor and in your financial support of parish structures. We are especially grateful for the wonderful involvement of so many of our parishioners in all kinds of ministries - our Parish Pastoral Council, Parish Finance Council, Parish Catechetics/Religious Education programmes, Lectors/Readers of the Word of God, Eucharistic Ministers, Altar Servers, Sacristans, Hospitality ministers, Ushers, Knights of St. Thomas More, Altar Linens conservators and Flower arrangers, Walter Huyghe for his Cribs/Creches , Cleaners, Maintenance technicians, gardeners, money-counters at the beginning of each week, Editors and Publishers, Secretariate Staff and Volunteers. May God reward all of you as you deserve. Finally, may the Good Lord bless all of you abundantly and keep you safe in 2006.

Sincerely yours in Him.

Your Pastors, Fathers Vincent and John
