At our recent Parish Finance Council
meeting of 16 April-- we reviewed the outcome of our appeal-- NEW YEAR
RESOLUTION for STANDING ORDERS-- which we made to you at the start of
this year- for new standing orders. As you know- standing orders are an
important and constant source of income which is vital in helping to run
the parish.
Every month-the amount received from
standing orders is about double what we receive from the weekend basket
collections taken at the masses.
We are very happy to announce that since the beginning of this year, we
have received 21 new standing orders, some of which are very generous.
This brings our total number of standing orders to 171. To all of you -
we say a big thank you.
It’s still not too late to make your 2004
resolution-- if you haven’t done so - just call it your EASTER
resolution!
