Update from the Parish Finance Council - Projects 2005

The Council has been considering the major projects which will need to be carried out in 2005;
These are as follows:
SEWAGE UPGRADING
We are obliged by the Commune to upgrade our present sewage system & to connect into the modern sewage system which is now in place for
Kraainem-our present system is out of date & will become illegal, therefore- we have no choice but to do this & it needs to be done this year.
This is why we will now launch a fundraising drive with Parishoners - specifically to finance this project.We ask all of you for your support in this.
CAR PARKING FACILITIES
When the work on the sewage upgrading is completed-- we intend to resurface the car parking area & extend this also- as we have a shortage of parking within the grounds & our surfaces are becoming degraded.This extensive work will start later this year.
STANDING ORDERS
Presently we have 169 individuals who support the parish by this method-- we are very grateful for this important & regular support. Others support by the weekly church collections--which is also vital for our parish.
We have seen recently a gradual increase in the number of standing orders-- as people have made NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS & taken out a new standing order-- a big thank you for this.
Whatever support you choose to give- it is appreciated & goes to making our parish & grounds a welcome place to visit
