Outreach
Introduction
Saint Anthony's Parish is a very liveable community. Every
Sunday, after 10.00 and 11.30 mass, parishioners meet together at the Parish hall to
have delicious coffee and donuts. There
are many social and cultural events taking place in the parish facilities
that are being announced in our calendar of
events and in "Words" weekly leaflet. The
calendar however is marked by two important get together parties. The "meet
& greet" reception to welcome newcomers and introduce them to the other
members of the Parish, and the annual
Fayre, a key
fund rising event and a great fun for all the family, that takes place in
mid June.

Calendar of events
During the year there are lots of social events taking
place at the Parish. From Quiz nights, wine tasting evenings, arts and
craft courses, African parties, barbecues, etc. In the calendar of
events you will find the events coming up, together with the
liturgical celebrations, and current business of the Parish. |

Meet & Greet
Please come to our “Meet & Greet” in September. This is a
chance for newcomers to meet other parishioners and enjoy our
hospitality. Parish regulars: this is your chance to be welcoming -
please bring a dish to share with our new friends, so they do feel
welcomed! |

Coffee &
Donuts
Donuts and coffee are served on Sunday mornings after
each Mass. This is very popular, especially with the children in the
Parish. It helps us get to know one another and generates income for the
Parish. |

Parish Fayre
The Summer Fayre takes place
the second Sunday in June every
year, and is a major social and fund-raising event.
An estimated two- three thousand people come to the event which is held in the
church gardens on a sunny afternoon. |

Bookshop
From time to time the English Catholic
Bookshop
visits the Parish. It is a great opportunity to buy good literature to
make your faith grow. From a Bible to the Catechism of the Catholic
Church you can find all kind of good works to take to your shelf. |
